Kingfishers and Water Lilies art card

Kingfishers and Water Lilies, is another work in the series, with brightly jewelled kingfishers, perched on bits of gnarled, moss covered branches, surrounded by white and yellow water-lilies. The kingfishers are patiently waiting for little unsuspecting insects to settle on a pad for them to eat. I wanted to create a moment of stillness but with a feeling of vibrancy and movement in the reflections hidden in the depths of the flowing water.
